The best Nikon zoom binoculars go from 8-24x rapidly. Find the best zoom binoculars for you with Nikon Eagleview, Travelite & Action Zoom binocular reviews.

Get as close to the action as possible without ever moving your feet with a pair zoom binoculars from Nikon. Zoom binoculars are very popular with the nature viewing crowd, and Nikon is popular with everyone. Add those two sentiments together and you get some of the best zoom binoculars in the world coming from one great company: Nikon.

Zoom binoculars certainly aren’t for everyone. If you’re watching birds or following a sporting event, the zoom can get in your way and make it harder to focus in on the action. But if you’re viewing something stationary, and want the best close-up view possible, then you need to zoom in on Nikon’s selection of zoom binoculars.

Nikon Zoom Binoculars: Reviews & Ratings

Nikon has zoom binoculars in three of the company’s bestselling series:

  • Eagleview
  • Action
  • Travelite

While Eagleview is a line that exclusively features Nikon zoom binocs, the other two are more versatile collections that happen to feature a zoom model.

Nikon Action binoculars are all-around versatile binocs suited to your every viewing need–be it sports watching, bird viewing, or wildlife gazing.

On the other hand, Nikon Travelite binoculars are aimed toward a singular purpose: offering lightweight, small-bodied, compact binoculars that can be taken anywhere and everywhere.

But if you’re interested solely in the zoom capabilities of your binoculars, you should definitely take a look at Nikon’s Eagleview collection.

Nikon Eagleview zoom binoculars may just be the best zoom binoculars on the market today. The magnification range for the Nikon 8-24×25 Eagleview Zoom DCF binoculars starts at 8x and goes all the way up to 24x, with stops along the way at 12x and 16x.

This is a great range for wildlife viewing. Just as the name suggests, you can see with the clarity of an eagle’s eye with these high-end binocs.

The Eagleview zoom binoculars feature high index prisms and multi-coated lenses for the best in clarity, protection, brightness, and vivid contrast. What they don’t feature, however, are waterproof designs. Sadly, this goes for all of Nikon’s zoom binoculars including the Nikon Action Zoom XL 10-22×50 and the Nikon 8-24×25 Travelite V zoom binoculars.

Best Nikon Zoom Binoculars: Customer Reviews

What do consumers have to say about the performance of Nikon’s zoom binocular models? Let’s take a look.

Consumers like:

  • Value price tags
  • Nice magnification range
  • Compact and heavy duty options
Consumers don’t like:

  • Light level reduction while zooming
  • Difficult to hold steady at high magnification
  • Not clear and crisp enough at high levels

Nikon Zoom Binoculars: Summary

The Bottom Line – Zoom binoculars definitely aren’t for everyone. They sound like really neat binoculars, but if you don’t know how to use them, they can prove to be more of a hindrance than a help.

That aside, Nikon zoom binoculars are among the best on the market. While not ideal for all-weather use, their advanced designs and quality construction can’t be beat.

Nikon Monarch Binoculars are best in optic. Although the FOV may be not wide but their images are awesome! I’m using a Monarch 5 8×42 binoculars and nothing to complain
