My favorite pair of binoculars I ever owned were a pair of Tasco Essentials (8×21). They were my favorite because they weren’t expensive at all! I also liked them because they’re small enough to fit into your pocket and they don’t feel heavy around your neck.
The only disadvantage of them is that they are easily misplaceable unless you are organized and keep them in a safe location.
My Tasco binoculars never had a problem in the rain because they never fogged up and if rain got on the lenses it was easy to wipe off. I used them mainly for hunting but when nothing was walking around I would watch birds with them and they worked perfectly.
They are also good to take to sporting events because they are small and fit in your pocket but are good enough to see everything. Personally I only took them to one sporting event, which was a Steeler game I went to. I sat up in peanut heaven, which was section 522 and I used the binoculars and seen players and what was happening on the field pretty good.
If you are using the binoculars for hunting or birdwatching these are the perfect kind to get!
My name is Chris B and I am from PA around 2 hours from Pittsburgh. My family and me own a farm which is a big hunting area so the binoculars worked perfect!
